Pink Ice Protea TUTORIAL

A visual guide about how to recreate this beautiful and intriguing flower from paper.

20-1
I started to study and recreate this flower a couple of years ago and I completely fell in love with it. Since then, so many of you expressed the desire of having a protea tutorial made by me. So I created this visual course that captures every step of my creative process and some of the know how I developed through the years of practice and experimenting with crepe paper.
With the help of my photographer friends from Deers Photography, we documented step by step the making of this flower. This is a version of the Pink Ice Protea which has lovely coloring and it’s perfect for me to teach you the basics of making this beauty.

10-1

This course is a PDF which contains 22 pages with images that will show you the materials you will need, how to paint and laminate the paper, how to cut, shape and color the petals, how to make the leaves. Also you will see how I make the center of this flower which gives her the unique shape… and at the end, the final touch by adding the leaves.

To be able to make this course you have to have some experience with paper flowers. But if you are a beginner in this field you can use it for some guide lines and with time and practice, you will be able to make it some day.

If you purchase my tutorial you will receive a second course with some new insights on the process of creating this beautiful flower and templates for the petals and leaves.

In the end, as a bonus, you will receive a second tutorial on how to make a  KING PROTEA. This document has a lot of new details about painting, shape and style that you will find very interesting.

Iti multumesc !!!

Christine, your work is truly amazing and I’m sure comes from years of dedication and trial and error. While I would love to learn to make this, the cost, during these difficult times, is a little too steep for me. I wish you luck in your teaching endeavors. Your flowers are truly beautiful!
